Uniforms are a lifesaver in our household !! It truly limits all the fuss in the morning and puts the focus on education and not clothing. Unfortunately, we experienced one incident when a child made a remark about my son’s footwear. He wore a pair of Jordans to school, and the kid walked up to him and said they were fake. I was appalled, to say the least.
Last year was a test drive for shopping for uniforms. I learned which brands didn’t fade, which fits worked best on my son and how to dress him so he’s comfortable and stylish. This year I felt like a pro when shopping for their stuff.Thankfully, H&M is one of the few brands that offer quality uniform options for the kids.
Sharing a few of our favorite Uniform pics from H&M.
I opted for a Blazer instead of a cardigan!!Although it looks chic with her pants, think about how cute this will look over a dress and/or skirt. Sparkle loves it as much as I do. As you can see we added a few fashion pins to dress it up a bit.
In particular, I am a huge fan of their pants/chinos. They are a slim cut so it elongates the children legs vs the regular brand like French Toast. Not only are their pants stuff but they make children look bigger from the waist down. No offense but that’s a huge no no.
When it comes to shoes, I am very particular. I was so excited to see they online exclusive shoes in premium leather. These navy mary janes and tan Chelsea boots will work all year round, plus they are adorable. Can’t wait to style them through the year with her dress/skirts.
Last year, I purchased polo shirts with a bit more texture to them. However, these are super soft, and I like they way they fit inside the pants without it bulking up around her waist area.
